This week was an exciting one for one young entrepreneur in Peterborough, as Lindsay Brock opened her doors at Amusé Coffee Co.
Amusé Coffee Co. opened its doors on Tuesday at 641 George Street North in Peterborough (at the corner of George St & Edinburgh Street). This “charming and sassy” French-inspired café is a little taste of Paris. The menu features paninis, local pastries and fantastic coffee & tea. They are open Tuesday – Sunday from 8am – 10pm.
Lindsay started her company with the support of Starter Company, a Government of Ontario youth entrepreneurship program that is administered through Peterborough Economic Development’s Business Advisory Centre. Danielle Sullivan, Peterborough Economic Development’s BAC Youth Program Coordinator extends her congratulations to Lindsay, saying,”Lindsay of Amusé knows her business inside out! A major component of the Starter Company application is to write a business plan, and Lindsay did so thoughtfully and with an impressive amount of knowledge drawn from her wealth of experience in the industry.”
